Having been accepted by the British Showjumping Association to compete in the event, Year 12 student Imogen Rome travelled to Sentower Park in Belgium during mid-November for the Indoor Youth Showjumping Festival.
Imogen recounts, “There were around 90 people in my class, most of them being from Europe but some were from America. I was about 30th to go and went into the lead. Later though, I was pushed down into 3rd by an Irish girl and another English girl. I finished up 3rd overall, which I was very happy with as it was my first show abroad. Hopefully I will be able to go next year with my horse as it is my last year on ponies.”
Well done to Imogen and good luck for future events!
