A gripping Football Derby was held during breaktime today when a Year 11 team took on Sixth Form players.
Although there were a number of near scores from both sides, the two 10-minute goalless halves meant the match was decided on penalties. After a tense penalty shoot-out, the Sixth Form team seized a 2-1 victory.
Well done to both teams for their commendable sportspersonship, and to Dan Jones who was named man of the match.
The match was very well attended with supportive spectators and provided some great tension release in the run up to the summer exams.
