Year 11 and Sixth Form students explored their future options at today’s Careers Morning at William Howard School, meeting local employers, training providers and universities to learn about further study, apprenticeships and career pathways.
Students also enjoyed talks on animal careers and conservation, meeting owls and reptiles, alongside sessions on mental health, planning a gap year and Innovia’s work-based degree pathway programme.
A huge thank you to Carlisle College, Kendal College, Gen2, System Group, David Allen, Thomas Graham, Farlam Hall, Bendalls Engineering, Specsavers, Pet Encounters, Carlisle United, Dodd & Co, University of Cumbria, Barnardo’s, Innovia, Northumbria University, Cedar Mortgage Services, and to WHS Sixth Form.
Thank you for giving your time, sharing your expertise and helping our students make informed decisions about their futures.
