A huge thank you to everyone who generously donated gifts for our Mission Christmas Appeal in support of CFM’s Cash for Kids, and toys and games for the Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice Appeal.
The Mission Christmas trolley was overflowing with presents, which are now on the way to help ensure that no child in our community wakes up on Christmas Day without a present to open.
Vicki Lesley, fundraiser from Eden Valley & Jigsaw Hospices, was overwhelmed with the amount of boys and toys they received.
Mr Byers, Head of Eden House who led the appeal, said: “We have filled the back of the hospice’s new van and it couldn’t be done without all of your generosity and support.”
Some of the toys and games will be used directly by the children in the hospice, and the remaining items will go to their charity shops to help raise funds.
