Victoria Filipowicz is the very deserving recipient of this week’s Headteacher Award. Victoria has had and amazing start to her education at WHS; while settling into Year 7 herself, she has supported and guided one of our new EAL students, becoming a friend and a young interpreter.
Miss Pigdon said: “Victoria has demonstrated some of our core model behaviours: ‘have courage’ and ‘encourage others’. Young students like this provide the school community with a much-needed service and make the life of a non-English speaking new starter much easier.”
