There was a great sense of release on Friday morning as Year 11s celebrated the end of the summer exams – their smiles were as bright as the sunshine as they gathered for the traditional shirt signing and final assembly.
Miss Mulholland (Year 11 Director of Learning) led their farewell assembly, which took them on a trip down memory lane and celebrated their journey through WHS. Filled with hilarious video messages from staff, the assembly was punctuated with wonderful performances by Year 11 students – Harley and Joe playing guitar, and Will and Morven singing.
Everyone agreed they have been a fantastic cohort – despite joining WHS in September 2020 (mid-pandemic) they responded brilliantly, and Mr Dawson (Year 11 Student Manager) commended them all.
We wish them all well in their next steps and look forward to a glittering Year 11 prom on Wednesday, 25 June!
