During “My Money Week”, Year 9 and Year 12 Business students went to Brampton Primary School with a top trumps game they’d created to educate the pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 about the cost of owning a pet. Nicky from Oak Tree Animals’ Charity also gave a talk to the pupils to highlight how much it costs to feed and look after a range of family pets.
In school, during Personal Development lessons about My Money Week, students have been designing a logo for the newly formed Friends of William Howard group. The group will run fundraising events to support the students and whole school community. The deadline for entries to the competition ends at the start of July.
