During the spring term we have an exciting new opportunity for parents and the local business community to be involved in the life of the school by becoming a committee member of the newly formed charitable fundraising group, Friends of William Howard School.
Friends of William Howard School would be run in a similar way to a parent teacher association (PTA) in a primary school. As a charitable organisation, funding is available to access for the group that would not be available to us as a school. This could be prizes and awards or could be used for equipment, additional transport or resources to support our school community.
The group would meet once every half term to plan activities and events and identify ways to fundraise and support our students. If you are able to give some of your time and join us, either as a regular member or occasional volunteer who can give a few hours now and again, you would be most welcome!
