Our beautiful new Sensory Room was officially opened on Wednesday by Tony Parrini from Brampton and Longtown Rotary. During his visit, Tony spoke with several students about what the Rotary do and explained how, with support from Rotary International, they contributed a generous donation towards the development of the space.
This funding has enabled many students to access the Sensory Room as a place to self-regulate when they feel anxious or overwhelmed. The room is also available for use by visitors attending events at William Howard School when needed.
Headteacher Ms Pigdon expressed her thanks to Tony and the Brampton and Longtown Rotary team for their generous support, emphasising how the new facility provides a valuable resource for all students.
