130 students from Years 9 and 10 took part in the UK Maths Trust Intermediate Mathematical Challenge today.
This is a national challenge which comprises 25 multiple choice questions in a 60-minute test. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think.
We will find out shortly which students receive Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates as well as ‘Best in Year’ or ‘Best in School’. The very highest performers will progress to the next round.
