The donations of toys and games for the Eden Valley Hospice Jigsaw Appeal were collected today and they completely filled the hospice’s Mini!
A big thank you to everyone who brought in items – the collection trolley was overflowing.
“I’m so pleased by the amount we’ve received,” said Mr Byers, Head of Eden House who led the appeal. “We are looking at further ways we can support the charity throughout the year, but it will be difficult to beat this success!”
Vicki Lesley, Fundraiser from Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice explained how the donations would be used, “Some of the toys and games will be used directly by the children in the hospice, and the remaining items will go to our charity shops to help raise funds. Thank you to everyone involved in the wonderful collection.”
Vicki has kindly invited a group of William Howard students to Jigsaw to see exactly how their support will help local children with life limiting conditions.
