Students at William Howard School were offered a new opportunity last Wednesday evening, when Cumbria Cricket’s Super 1s Hub came along to run a session in school.
The session was kicked off with a fun game involving different catches, followed by coaching in bowling, batting and, finally, throwing. All those who attended clearly enjoyed the session and left with smiles on their faces.
Thank you to John Hughes from Cumbria Cricket who ran the session. We look forward to further sessions in the new year.
Well done to Bailey, George, Payton, Riley, Ava, Eve and Summer for throwing themselves into the cricketing, and to Sixth Form student, Heathcliff for supporting the session.
