Our table cricket team are off to Lord’s in two weeks’ time to play in the Lord’s Taverners National Table Cricket Finals.
On Monday, 9 June, Ben Pitkeathly from Carlisle United Football Club came along to see them in action at their after-school club and presented them with a signed Carlisle United football to use to help raise some funds. The students were excited to meet Ben. They made him feel very welcome and invited him to join in with a game of table cricket.
If you want to be in with a chance of winning a Carlisle United signed football, raffle tickets will be on sale all of next week so please bring in your pennies. The lucky winner will be announced at our table cricket team’s cake sale next Friday during break 1, in the foyer.
