Year 7 and 8 students received a crucial lesson on the risks of underage drinking on Thursday thanks to an award-winning theatre production.
‘Smashed’ is an inspiring live theatre experience with interactive workshops touring schools. Based on a powerful and realistic story of young people and alcohol, it tackles underage drinking with positive thinking. It provokes the audience to stop and ask, ‘What if that was me?’
During the sessions, our students observed, explored and reflected on vital underage drinking themes including: The social and emotional causes; the impact on young lives; social influence and decision making; where and how to help yourself and others.
