The final Headteacher’s Award for this academic year goes to Year 7 student Martha.
Martha has demonstrated an exemplary and consistent approach throughout Year 7, making her a highly deserving recipient of this award. She consistently achieves the Strive for 5 standard, reflecting her commitment to high expectations in uniform, equipment, punctuality, and conduct. She has willingly volunteered to support school events, demonstrating both initiative and a strong commitment to teamwork.
In the classroom, Martha approaches her learning with enthusiasm, determination, and maturity. She has earned numerous Learner of the Lesson house points across the academic year and ranks highly in overall house points, reflecting the positive contribution she makes across a range of subjects. She is frequently commended for her thoughtful participation in lessons, and her well-organised classwork and notes demonstrate a genuine desire to learn and make progress but ultimately showing a sense of pride. This dedication is reflected in her academic reports, where she consistently performs beyond expectations in many subjects.
Beyond the classroom, Martha has made a valuable contribution to school life. She has proudly represented the school in netball and has shown dedication through her regular participation in weekly extracurricular clubs and her ongoing support in Open Spaces. She also made an impressive contribution during the Outward Bound trip, displaying resilience, determination, and a positive attitude when faced with challenges.
Alongside her school commitments, Martha successfully balances a demanding schedule outside of school. She has competed in four national-level cheerleading competitions and has taken part in two productions with StagedRight, demonstrating exceptional commitment, perseverance, and time-management skills. Her ability to maintain such high standards academically while pursuing these achievements is particularly commendable.
Martha is a well-rounded, hardworking, and resilient student who consistently strives for excellence in all aspects of school life. She is an excellent role model for her peers and is thoroughly deserving of recognition for her achievements and contributions throughout Year 7.
