A big shout-out to Lewis Jackson-Herdman, who competed in this year’s Junior Troutmasters Challenge; a national fishing competition for under 14s. He did amazingly well and came 2nd in the whole country, narrowly missing first place. Both Lewis and the 1st place winner caught the same amount of fish so to break the tie, the person who caught their first fish quickest won. Sadly, Lewis took about 30 seconds longer for that catch but he did start on a position on the lake that no one else caught on all day.
Well done Lewis – it’s a fantastic achievement!
