Max, Henry and Caidyn are deserving recipients of this week’s Headteacher’s Award. At our Year 6 Open Evening, all three students independently wrote and delivered speeches to prospective parents, sharing their experiences of their first few weeks at William Howard School.
Max spoke warmly about the new friendships he has made and how quickly he has felt part of our school community. Henry reflected on the importance of embracing new beginnings and being proud of his achievements, while Caidyn enthusiastically described his lessons and the many opportunities he has already experienced at WHS.
What made their contributions so impressive was the confidence, passion and clarity with which they spoke. Standing in front of a large audience and representing their school so positively takes tremendous courage and maturity. Collectively, they have already accumulated over 700 house points in just three weeks, demonstrating an outstanding commitment to our values.
Max, Henry and Caidyn consistently demonstrate the qualities of respect, responsibility and resilience, and are already proving to be exceptional role models within our school community. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the positive example they set for others.
