This week’s Headteacher’s Award was presented to Year 7 student Thomas.
Thomas consistently demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm in everything he does. He has completed several Get Ahead Tasks across a range of subjects and always gives his best effort in lessons, which is reflected in the numerous ‘Learner of the Lesson’ awards he has received.
Thomas makes a very positive contribution to the learning environment at WHS. He regularly offers thoughtful suggestions when solving problems and willingly attempts extension tasks whenever possible. He is truly an all-round exceptional student.
In addition to excelling in the classroom, Thomas takes full advantage of opportunities beyond lessons. Since starting at WHS in September, he has helped to make the school a better place to learn through his excellent attitude, pleasant manner, and consistent enthusiasm for learning.
