A Year 9 student described as a super pupil who exemplifies all the key values of William Howard School has been awarded this week’s Headteacher’s Award – Caitlin has earned over 900 House Points, accumulated from across all her subjects demonstrating her exceptional work ethic. In all her subjects, but particularly PE, she has demonstrated a willingness to be the “best she can be” at every opportunity.
Caitlin is described by her teachers as always polite, helpful and friendly to all. She is part of the Year 9 Sports Leader Programme and is a fantastic role model to both her peers and younger pupils. She has shown an excellent commitment to improving her confidence in this area by helping out at different primary events.
Caitlin also makes the most of the opportunities on offer to her at school – she is part of the school choir, netball, trampolining and rounders clubs.
Her teachers describe her as a student who is a pleasure to teach. She is certainly very deserving of a Headteachers Award!
