Well done to Ellie in Year 8 who received the Headteacher’s Award this week. Ellie attends every lesson with a positive attitude and always tries her hardest. Her work is presented beautifully and completed to a very high standard, particularly in Maths. Ellie always seeks support when she needs it and often extension work when she finishes. Ellie is described as a delight to teach – she is polite, respectful, and helpful. In the corridor, she often acknowledges staff with a smile and a polite greeting.
Ellie attends several after school clubs which she speaks about enthusiastically. Miss Hodgson describes Ellie as: “An exceptional student both in Maths lessons and at netball after school.”
