This week’s Headteacher’s Award was presented to Will – a kind, generous and emotionally mature Year 8 student who consistently demonstrates our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
His Form Tutor, Ms Lewis commented: “Will’s quiet willingness to support both staff and peers shines through in Tutor Time, Drama lessons and the extracurricular Drama Club.”
Will is dependable, self-motivated and committed to excellence in both classwork and homework. He is proactive, asks thoughtful questions and stays well-organised.
A natural leader, Will regularly leads group work in Drama, organising extra rehearsals to improve performance. He is currently preparing for another Trinity Group Acting Exam and also participates in Rock Club.
Despite being a member of the Air Cadets for a relatively short time, Will was chosen to raise the flag at the old town hall in Carlisle on Monday 23rd June, during Armed Forces Week – a great honour.
With 1,475 House points (many for responsibility), Will is clearly deserving of a Headteacher’s Award.
