This week’s Headteacher’s Award goes to Oli Wightman for being an inspiration to all those who know him.
Oliver has recently been selected for the GB wheelchair rugby squad and has a chance of being William Howard’s second Paralympian at the 2028 Paralympics in LA.
He recently gave an inspiring presentation about his journey in sport at an inclusive sports leadership event. Oliver also held a question-and-answer session which he handled brilliantly.
As well as his talent in sport, Oliver is a valued member of our Sixth Form, regularly giving up his time as part of the Student Leadership Team. He demonstrates our core values in everything he does and is a very worthy recipient of this award.
