This week’s Headteacher’s Award goes to Year 8 student Joshua. Joshua has made an outstanding and settled start to the new school year following the summer break. He has adapted remarkably well to changes in his routine and the introduction of new aspects of school life showing resilience and maturity.
His confidence in navigating the school independently has grown significantly. Most recently in double Maths, he demonstrated excellent independent skills and impressed Mrs Dixon (Accelerate Curriculum Teacher) immensely. This reflects the exceptional progress he is making in his learning and his character. Joshua’s resilience, determination, and positive approach to all aspects of school life are evident, and we are incredibly proud of the noticeable strides he has made. He is a very deserving candidate for this award.
