The autumn term is the time when we invite students to apply for the position of Student Librarian. This year, as in previous years, the high quality of applications made the selection process very difficult, and we appreciate the effort and interest shown by all who applied.
We are pleased to confirm that our new Student Librarians are Abbie, Ameera, Ellis, Fraser, Maisie, Phoebe and Rosie. They are joining a wider team, and with just four vacancies available, some of them will share a weekly library duty and work together as a pair.
All students have completed their practical training and have successfully passed the online quizzes. They are now able to work independently, and it is wonderful to see their confidence grow! Last week, they all received their Student Librarian badges in recognition of their readiness for the role. Congratulations to all of them!
