Joey, an outstanding member of the Year 9 cohort who consistently demonstrates the values of the William Howard Way through his kindness, maturity and sense of responsibility, received a Headteacher’s Award this week
A calm, thoughtful and dependable young man, he regularly goes out of his way to support those around him, whether helping classmates with everyday challenges, encouraging his peers, or simply ensuring that everyone feels included.
Within school, Joey is hardworking, organised and a positive role model. He approaches his learning and wider school life with a quiet confidence and determination, always conducting himself with consideration and respect. His positive attitude and willingness to help others make him a valued member of both his form group and the wider school community.
Joey’s commitment extends beyond the classroom through his dedication to music. He has shown exceptional enthusiasm and perseverance as a member of the Year 9 Rock Band, attending rehearsals consistently and rising to the challenge of learning demanding new material with resilience and commitment.
