A Year 9 student is the truly deserving candidate for this week’s Headteacher’s Award – Harrison embodies our core value of resilience in every sense.
After facing a period of challenge, Harrison has shown remarkable determination and maturity, proving that with perseverance and by using the support networks around you, anything is possible. He is now thriving in his lessons, actively engaging, asking thoughtful questions, and taking genuine responsibility for his learning.
This has been reinforced by Mrs Nicholls, who said “Harrison has made an extremely positive start to the year in history. It’s been great to see him taking such an active part in the lesson, working incredibly hard both independently and alongside his peers. Since the start of September, Harrison has engaged well with the stretch and challenge in History and has produced good pieces of extended writing.”
We are all very proud of him!
