Huge congratulations go to Year 8 student Reuben Dorey who did fantastically well competing in the Cumbria County Swimming Championships at the weekend.
Reuben competed in the 13-14 yrs boys category and these are his results:
1st place:
- 50m freestyle
- 800m freestyle (fastest 13 YO – all ages swim together)
- 50m backstroke
- 100m backstroke
- 200m backstroke
- 100m individual medley
- 200m individual medley
2nd place:
- 100m freestyle
- 50m butterfly
3rd place:
- 50m breaststroke
He also swam team events for his club (Carlisle Aquatics) and played his part in the following:
- 1st place boys age 13-14 200m freestyle relay
- 2nd place boys age 13-14 200m medley relay
- 3rd place mixed age and mixed girls and boys 300m freestyle relay.
