KS3 Geographers have recently completed their first ‘Getting Ahead Task’ (GAT), entering the Royal Geographical Societies annual “Young Geographer of the Year”.
As usual there were some astounding entries where students had spent real time and effort in research this year’s theme of comparing islands. The difficult task of picking an overall winner for each year fell to the department with the following being chosen: Year 7 Jake S, Year 8 Caoimhe M, Year 9 Kate R.
