Year 12 student Grace received this week’s Headteacher’s Award.
Grace has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to developing her character by undertaking a wide range of enrichment opportunities, to really stand out from the crowd.
Recently, she was successful in the “Centre for Leadership Performance Dream Placement” interviews and will undertake a placement at Paragon Vets in the half term holiday.
Grace works part time at Walby Farm Park and is also very involved at her family farm where last week she delivered her first lamb that she’s named “Leonardo”. To support her new flock Grace is constructing a sheep stand though her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Grace’s involvement in supporting younger students, whether as a reading mentor or stepping up at the Year 9 careers event delivering input when a speaker was delayed, further highlights her maturity and willingness to support others. Her contributions at the Sixth Form Information Evening reflect her strong sense of community and responsibility. It’s clear that she embodies our core values, making her a fantastic role model for her peers.
